i enjoy reading gala darling's blog. she is upbeat and positive, and her life is very different to mine which is exciting to read about. when i first read the transformation challenge announcement i was a bit meh. self improvement is not my style [now self destruction...]. however after a bit of thought. i decided to give it a go. but what to challenge myself with? it was very hard to think of things that would get me out of my comfort zone, but weren't just things like "eat salad every day."
here's what i've come up with:
-run on the treadmill every time i go to the gym, and once a week around tha field
-start a craft project such as knitting a scarf or making a bag
-see at least 3 gigs
-have a meaningful conversation with a stranger once a week
-write in my paper journal once a day about how i am feeling
-change the layout of woundedkite.com
-spend an afternoon taking photos in the rocks
i'll keep you posted on how things are going.

i have two recommendations!
firstly, craftster.org for the crafty thing, it's very inspirational. i also have a shitload of patterns and stuff.
then for shows, pick up the drum every week, which you prolly already do, and pick whatever looks like you might like it just a bit, then go!
i found a band i really really liked that way, it was great!
