i like what you say

some shit went down at work yesterday which was not at all good. afterwards, i had some time to kill, so i hung out with the guy who sits next to me and decompressed. we talked about life and things.  the way he described our middle class plight. the pressure to go to uni and make something of yourself so that you don't have to live in the suburbs anymore. it was so intelligent. normally we just talk about girls and hip hop, but this was so much different. it made me realise how much i value him in my life.

then i saw 1408. the juxtaposition between john cusack hotness and it being the scariest fucking film i've ever seen was just about unbearable.

today we are going on a cruise. but the weather is bleak and the sea looks all grey. i hope we have a good time.
