back in the hood

god damn. i am tired beyond words.

this evening at about 6:30 i was on my way to woolworths when my mum called me. she said that she'd just found out nan was in hospital. she sounded upset because when she called, the hospital couldn't give her any information.

so i drove to the field, and then on to c-town to see her. they're waiting on some test results at the moment to rule out her heart as being the cause of her chest pain, but it's probably going to be just breathing problems. today was a fucked up day pollen wise. i had pretty much the worst hayfever ever, and everyone in my team at work was copping it. so it's probably that.

it also may have something to do with the fact that mum's been busy lately and hasn't had much time to go and see her. wouldn't be the first time that's happened.

so i stayed with her til about quarter to 10, then i went and got petrol and maccas at my favourite servo in the whole world, surly's on camden valley way. except the guy who served me was not surly at all.

and now i'm back north side. i still need to go shopping, but i think that will be bypassed in favour of a swim tomorrow.
