the one about music

-i really like that good charlotte song, keep your hands off my girl. now that i've admitted that, will i have to hand in my indie card?

-someone asked me a while back if they were going to start listening to pavement, what they should start with. i can't remember who it was though. if it was you, i apologise. also, if it was you, you should download/make a mix tapes of the following songs:

1. summer babe
2. trigger cut/wounded kite at: 17
3. unfair
4. shady lane
5. blue hawaiian
6. ...and carrot rope
7. gold soundz
8. hit the plane down
9. circa 1762
10. perfume v
11. elevate me later
12. starlings of the slip stream
13. heaven is a truck
14. filmere jive

-the new beastie boys album sounds just like the in sound from way out. so basically in 10 years the beastie boys have gone around in a big circle.

-i still haven't gotten into the new crowded house album yet.

-my favourite song at the moment is charm attack by leona naess

dress!

zomg. i bought the hottest dress ever to wear to my work's winter ball in a few weeks.

i'm going to dye the top of my hair a reddish colour to match the velvety bits in the dress. oh my, it looks so nice i want to wear it every day.

it comes just past my knees, so what do you reckon, should or shouldn't i wear stockings with it?

free ODB.. oh wait

you may have heard the rumour doing the rounds last week that everyone's favourite stupid spoilt whore, paris hilton had been release from jail because of a scorching case of anal herpes.

of course a couple of days later she was sent back to jail with some zorvirax to finish her sentence.

obviously celebrities are better people than you and me, and therefore shouldn't have to put up with pesky things like being in jail, even if they do repeatedly put the lives of hundreds of people at risk by driving drunk.

therefore i have decided to do something to publicly show my support for paris. but what? i could make a t-shirt, but that's already been done. i could get drunk and be a massive skank, but i'm too busy playing mario kart.

i finally decided there was only one real way i could show people that i am pro-paris. and that is...

office space

i need a new job. i'm dying here.

i don't really want to work in a call centre either.

and i'm sick of waiting for a reply from the job i applied for over a month ago. bastards

why can't i just be a professional blogger?

a staggering genius

there's just something about sitting on a train after dark with the rain falling, reading a book by dave eggers and heading south west.

i'm awe struck and jealous at his ability to put words on paper and make them so elegant and spellbinding.

if you haven't read you shall know our velocity, i demand you pick up a copy immediately. what is the what is shaping up to be just as captivating.

in other news i'm back in the field. i'm 24 all of a sudden and my hair is dark brown on the bottom and a strange auburn shade on top. looks good though.

so far i'm loving being back field-side.

i had to go to work today for the first time in a week. i hated every minute of it. i need a new job.

i was meaning to be more news-y and a bit more emo, but what can you do.

has mick molloy sold out?

The Nation will take a left-field look at the people and events in news, sport and politics with Sydney radio host Jackie O acting as entertainment reporter.

Sports journalist Tiffany Cherry, stand-up comics Gary Eck and Paul Calleja and former Quizmania host Nikki Osborne will make-up the rest of The Nation's regular line-up.

i believe the answer is yes.
